# Example workflows

These are shapes of workflows teams have built on Assembly Line. Each was built for a specific team, with that team's rules and systems, and none is packaged as a ready-to-run template yet. Your IT team builds its own from the same parts, starting from the [worker template](https://github.com/finopsbricks/worker-template).

## Document intake

Pick up from email or a shared drive → classify → extract fields → file.

Documents arrive in one place, already sorted and read. Anything the extract or check stations can't handle lands in that station's failed bin with its error.

## Proposal generation

Gather inputs → draft the document → send for review.

A first draft waiting for review instead of a blank page.

## System-to-system sync

Read new records → map fields → write to the other system.

Two systems that agree, without copy and paste. Each run's work record shows what was read and written.

## Statement verification (finance)

Discover statements → deterministic checks → AI review → report.

Every statement checked, with a report of what didn't add up. This one is finance, so it belongs to [FinOpsBricks](https://finopsbricks.com).

## Build your own

Your IT team starts with the [Assembly Line quickstart](https://assemblyline.sh/docs/quickstart): a step running on their own machine in about 15 minutes, with no account.
